Basic Survival Kit - Make Your Own

!±8± Basic Survival Kit - Make Your Own

Survival kits are an essential part of your outdoor gear, whether you're going sailing, hiking, or camping. You have to be prepared for emergencies such as storms, injuries, getting stranded, or losing your way. You can buy pre-packed survival kits from the shop, or you can put one together yourself. If you choose the latter, you have to keep in mind how much provision you will need, the type of environment you will be in, and how you can call for help when necessary. Here are some of the things to consider when you make your own survival kit.

Warmth and shelter

Your survival kit should have tools for providing comfort in bad weather. This includes space blankets, cutting tools (for firewood or putting up a shelter), and an emergency poncho to protect against rain. You also need firestarting tools such as lighters or matches, heat tablets, and a magnifying glass. Dark shoe polish can also serve as fuel and keep wild animals away with its smell.

First aid

This should have the usual first aid tools like bandages, gauze, razors, and disinfectants, as well as lip balm and insect repellents. Also include any medicines you might need such as aspirin and painkillers.

Food and water

Keep a large supply of drinking water and canned or ready-to-eat meals. Provisions may out quickly in emergency situations, so always have fishing gear and a large supply of iodine tablets for water purification. Gum, tea or candy can help boost your confidence.

Navigation and signaling

A GPS or compass will help you find your way around unfamiliar territory. If you lose your way or get stranded, you'll need signaling and marking tools to mark your location and guide rescuers towards you. These include orange surveyor's tape, flares or flare guns, and Emergency Position-Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRB) for sending out distress signals to satellites.

Multipurpose tools

A Swiss army knife is useful for general tasks such as cutting food, opening cans and bottles, and splitting rope. For snaring animals or putting up a tent, you'll need parachute cords or other sturdy ropes. Other things you may need are heavy threads and needles for repairing tent or clothing, and aluminum foil for cooking and signaling.

!±8± Wenger WA-7329-14F00 Legacy Computer Backpack: A Definitive Review

If you're looking for a good laptop bag that can give you the excellent comfort of carrying your laptop everywhere without the high price, the Wenger WA-7329-14F00 Legacy Computer Backpack is perfect for you. But I want to share the features that this bag has to offer, and maybe you can decide whether or not it'll really be beneficial for your use.

Design

You can't be deceived by its plain exterior. The inside of this bag has all the necessary compartments and spaces that you need to keep your laptop safe and tightly protected. Although it's quite bulky with a weight of 3.2 pounds and the dimensions of 18" x 14" x 3.25", it makes carrying loads comfortable because of its weight distribution design that places the weight evenly to provide maximum ease of carrying all your stuff. The bag can carry up to 15.6'' laptops in a perfect fit.

The bag has a security check-friendly design that allows you to better comply with security checks without going through the hassle of opening all your bag's compartments. The airflow back padding makes it more comfortable to wear the bag even for a long period of time by providing a breathable pad for your back.

It has four compartments, the deepest and farthest one for the laptop. Its compartment is made of the trademark SWISSGUARD laptop pocket which keeps your device snugly kept safe and protected from different forces, like accidental falls and turbulence. You can use it every day for work, or for road trips, travels, and vacations.

The middle compartments can be used for keeping other important documents, notebooks, textbooks, paperwork, and other important items for your daily use. The smallest compartment at the front has an organizer for carrying ball pens, a cellphone, and other office supplies.

Color

The plain black exterior of the backpack makes it an excellent choice for people of all genders, ages, and statuses. A college student can easily bring this to class if he needs to bring his laptop, and a professional can also comfortably keep his gadgets in this bag when he goes to work every day. The black exterior is accented with red and gray highlights. This makes it a perfect bag for everyday wear and tear and constant weathering. Stains, dust, and damages are seldom seen in the black face of this bag.

Other Features

The bag has a Quik Pocket iPod or MP3 player headset/earphone outlet that allows you to listen to your favorite tracks while wearing the bag. It also has a case base stabilizer platform that keeps your bag upright even with the heavy load it carries. It also has side pockets for water bottles so you can carry your drinks without worrying about them wetting the contents of your bag. You'll definitely find everything you need in this very useful and durable bag.

Conclusion

I have seen and used a lot of laptop bags but the Wenger WA-7329-14F00 Legacy Computer Backpack has excellent features that I really can't understate. I've been using it for quite a while and I have seen all the benefits and features of the bag which make me love it even more. So I want to recommend it to all those who are looking for a fine and functional laptop bag that's casual to wear and durable enough to withstand everyday weathering and contact with external forces. This bag will definitely satisfy all your laptop carrying needs.

Here Kitty, Kitty - Warner Bros. wants to make you like a dog and Chase This Cat

!±8± Here Kitty, Kitty - Warner Bros. wants to make you like a dog and Chase This Cat

What difference does it almost a decade! (Or is it?)

Almost 10 years after the original smart and funny "Dogs and Cats" is (in "normal" and in 3D, depending on what you see in theaters) is the continuation of the species, "Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore ".

The main objective is to convince the directors to take the premise of super heroes, animals and put him into the world of super-spies (unlike the first film in the first place, even pets talkative, a real movie "family").The credit (and certainly the title) quickly realize that you can not even hide the fact that this film James Bond wants to embrace the iconography.

"Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty" is filled with gadgets galore. If there is a techno / steroids and the Swiss Army boxcutter collar variety, is a backpack. "Why wear a bag?" in the film, the mischievous Diggs Shepherd (voiced by James Marsden), asked the white-haired spy Butch (voiced by Nick Nolte). Without too muchremoved, the public can see that the wing of birds. Expect to make a dove wise-cracking/street Katt Williams as an example, which seems more than a little 'of "Donkey" series "Shrek" movies on expression.

The premise is obviously quite silly - and disgruntled glabra Kitty Galore (horribly dubbed by Bette Midler) has been stolen super-secret government units in their quest for world domination cat. Even if it looks like ("Austin Powers") Mr. Bigglesworth in appearanceand takes a lot of "Dr. Evil" Take-over-the-world mantra. Midler has been an excellent choice for the villain of the film, as their living tradition fits the character, a pet, a traveling circus magician (played with enthusiasm of "30 Rock" star Jack McBrayer, Kenneth 's, the page is on the NBC series).

The second film is, as you might expect, boasted sharper technical tricks with animals from the first (and they were very good, anyway). This viewer has often been asked ifthe talking animals on screen were real animals, manipulated by computers or completely CGI.

The film definitely has a lot of laughs and there are oohs and ahs in the pet department Cutie. Coach deserved to hold on this set, as the dogs - the whole movie - in fact looked like a real four-legged thing. The plot is so far-fetched as the settings for movies, but our 13-year-old companion was very happy to have seen him several times and said after considering how surprisingly goodit is not.

The new film is more star power than the original (though, Neil Patrick Harris is put on the voice of Lou the Beagle from "Spiderman" Tobey Maguire) - Included in the cast (in addition to Nolte, Williams, and of course Midler), Christina Applegate as "good" Kitty Cat / spy, Roger Moore, Wallace Shawn, Joe Patola and (if it can also be considered as a kind of star power) Paul Rodriguez. Sean Hayes and Michael Clarke Duncan revisit their roles from the first filmMr. tinkling bad as Kitty and Sam intelligent and stoic, respectively.
